A rare grape saved from extinction, Mavro Kalavrytino comes from Tetramythos' high-altitude vineyards (750–900m) above the Gulf of Corinth, where big diurnal swings keep everything fresh and taut. Hand-harvested, wild-fermented, and aged 4-5 months on the lees with zero intervention, it pours a bright copper-pink and opens with wild strawberry, pomegranate, and rose petal, backed by pink pepper and citrus zest. The palate is rounded yet juicy, lifted by lively acidity, a savoury touch of salinity, and soft tannins. Pure, expressive, and endlessly easy to love.
