Meet Sideritis — the "iron grape" of Mount Aroania, once thought extinct and too stubborn to ripen before mid-November (talk about playing hard to get). Seven days of skin contact give this rare beauty a light orange hue and a soft, silky phenolic grip, while laurel, thyme, lemon, and pear tumble out of the glass with a briny wink. On the palate it's juicy and voluminous, almost creamy, with refreshing acidity and a spicy finish that lingers. Low in alcohol. High on personality.
