The wine pours a striking deep gold with copper reflections, opening with lemon peel, mandarin, apricot, and quince, then shifting into something wilder: fennel, crushed thyme and hay. On the palate it's low in acid but far from flabby, carried by a mineral backbone with pear and chamomile leading to a dry, oxidative and herbaceous finish.
